There’s something about winter. It’s not my favourite season, but there’s something quite comforting about it. Maybe it’s the quiet that comes with it, or the crisp, clean air. Maybe it’s the needle-like sharp pain I experience when the icy wind lashes my body, numbing me and distracting me from the pain inside my heart.
Just like how the trees shed their leaves and prepare for the growth of new leaves, winter is a time to experience pain, let it takeover you and then realise what it is that you need to let go of. So that you are ready to grow a new set of wings and continue soaring through your life
Winter has arrived in London; icy winds battered the city and my mind. But now I know what must be done. So I bid you farewell.
